However, it is evident that the hand-to-face tradition will continue to be part our daily routine. However, the nature of Rotary has changed. While we are moving through summer of 2021, the level of uncertainty regarding how Rotary will be able to offer the same level of human interaction that Rotary members had in the past continues. However, it is evident that the hand-to-face ritual is going to remain a part of Rotary's routine. The reality is that Rotary has changed. Rotary is a network that fosters long-lasting friendships. In order to keep our meetings online, we've reintroduced service as well as social gatherings in a environment that is a face-to-face. We've taken these new opportunities and combined these with our habits for preventing pandemics to provide an optimistic future for Rotary! It's encouraging to know that 75% of Rotary clubs are planning to carry on their "business regular" actions. This summer the majority of Rotary members have been out in the public, focusing their attention on a variety of projects including river and beach tidy-ups and trash pick-ups.
